Ann always follows her passion which is working with teams. She loves motivating people to look at themselves honestly and to be more open to their potential both as individuals and part of a productive team. She presents and facilitates workshops focusing on aspects of leadership, teambuilding, conflict resolution, creativity and ethics.

Ann grew up in Portland, Oregon, attended school in California (Occidental College, BA, and University of Southern California, MA) and France (Junior Year Abroad with Smith College). She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia where she attended University of British Columbia to receive her teaching credential.

She has taught students at all levels and developed curriculum for a variety of subjects in the public school system.

She worked as Manager of Professional Development for the British Columbia Principals and Vice-Principals' Association where she motivated educators to align their vision, mission and leadership styles to be effective school leaders.

She is a Faculty Associate with Royal Roads University in the Master of Arts in Leadership Training program. She works as Co-ordinator of Leadership Development for the BC School Superintendents' Association and has administered projects to develop courses for superintendent training, organized projects to promote leadership opportunities for First Nations educators, and administers a provincial ethics initiative.

In the 1980s under her maiden name, Ann Frisbee, she worked in Hollywood in the film business. Her feature film credits include Orion's "Up the Creek" and Kings Road Entertainment's "The Big Easy". She now teaches film genre and theory at Vancouver Film School and Langara College to students from around the world.

Ann's warmth, wit, experience and intelligence promote lively and dynamic workshops where participants dialogue, reflect, question and take risks.
